Love Foundation & APCOM Forge New Partnership for Community Digital Health

A new chapter in community digital health collaboration has begun as Love Foundation & APCOM announced their joint partnership. The two organizations formalized their commitment through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony held at Stranger Bar, Silom Soi 4 in Bangkok on March 15th, 2024.

APCOM and Love Foundation Forge Partnership through MoU Signing

The partnership aims to enhance access to health services and information for the LGBTQI+ community and other key populations. This will be achieved by leveraging APCOM’s testBKK.org and Love Foundation’s Love2Test.org digital platforms that provide testing services, preventive information, treatment access, and health awareness resources accessible to all.

The MoU event embraced the vibrant community spirit of Silom Soi 4, kicking off with a dazzling drag show performance by Srimala from Drag Race Thailand. An engaging panel discussion followed on “Using Data to Empower LGBTQI+ and Key Populations” where representatives from APCOM, Rainbow Sky Association of Thailand, SWING Thailand, Hornet Thailand, and Love Foundation explored leveraging community data and technology.

Anticipation built as the MOU signing ceremony commenced, witnessed by the Mister Gay World Thailand title holder. APCOM’s Executive Director Midnight Poonkasetwattana and Love Foundation’s Founder Panyaphon Phiphatkhunarnon inked the partnership agreement amidst a gathering of over 10 honored guest organizations. A riveting closing performance capped off the celebratory event.

said Midnight Poonkasetwattana, APCOM’s Executive Director.

“The implementation of community-led responses, endorsed. Enacted by the communities themselves, fosters confidence. That data gathered by these communities will be purposefully utilized to enhance service delivery, safeguard rights. And directly address the requirements of both individuals living with HIV and key populations.”

Panyaphon Phiphatkhunarnon Love Foundation’s Founder, added

“Innovation and communities are vital forces in building a future that is progressive and inclusive. By working together, organizations involved in HIV and sexual health can harness their collective strengths to drive sustainable development and ensure equitable access to essential services and resources for all individuals, regardless of gender.”

This collaboration solidifies more than just an official partnership – it exemplifies a commitment to community health and engagement. United, Love Foundation & APCOM will champion greater health access and robust community participation in a sustainable manner.
