What to check before making a contribution

Financial support helps the organisation plan public education, community activities, digital information, referrals, and work that challenges HIV- and LGBTQ+-related stigma. Contributions do not need to be large. Choose an amount appropriate to your circumstances and verify the account name, account number, and foundation contact details shown on this page before transferring funds.

Keep the transfer receipt, date, amount, and payer name if you need an acknowledgement or other documentation. Contact the foundation through its published email or telephone number and ask what information is required. Avoid sending passwords, card details, or unnecessary financial and identity data. A receipt request may take time to verify, particularly if the transfer record does not contain a recognisable name or reference.

Support can also take the form of professional expertise, event collaboration, in-kind resources, or volunteering. Contact the team with a clear description of the proposed contribution, timing, location, intended beneficiaries, and any conditions attached to the support. The foundation considers mission fit, operational capacity, community safeguarding, privacy, transparency, and whether communications respect the dignity and consent of people represented in the work.

After making a contribution, check that the destination account and amount match what you intended. If something appears incorrect, contact your bank promptly and then notify the foundation through a verified channel. Love Foundation will not ask for your online-banking password or one-time password. Be cautious of messages using copied logos, urgent pressure, or an account number that differs from the details published on this website.
